Michael has been a member of the RICS since 1996 and has more than 22 years of experience in the commercial property market. Michael started his career at Gerald Eve before moving to DTZ where he specialised in providing advice on the west of Scotland office market to developers, occupiers and investors.
In 2006 Michael joined BAM Properties as Development Director for Scotland and in 2007 he was awarded “Newcomer of the Year” at the Property Week Scottish Property Awards. In 2009 his role was extended to cover both Scotland and the North of England
He established an office development pipeline with an end value in excess of £60 million within 18 months of joining BAM Properties with projects including the Tesco Bank headquarters in Edinburgh and the development of NFU’s Glasgow office. Other projects in Manchester and Leeds were followed recently by 110 Queen Street in Glasgow a £70 million award winning office development. Retail experience includes 131 Princes Street in Edinburgh and Armani and Nike’s flagship stores in Glasgow.
Michael is a guest lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University. Michael joined Crucible Alba Group in February 2015 and is responsible for identifying, managing and delivering development projects.
